What we collect.

Vesper is a research tool over Florida public records. It needs very little about you, and this page says exactly what.

Scopeyour account · nothing sold, nothing shared SheetD-06 · rev 02 · day

Everything Vesper reports on — solicitations, purchase orders, contracts, appropriations, lobbying registrations, legislative records — is Florida public record, published by the State. None of it comes from you.

What we hold about you

DataWhy
Email addressIt is your account. Sign-in is a code sent to your inbox — there is no password to store.
Application detailsIf you applied for access: your name, firm, role and what you wanted to use Vesper for.
Questions you askQuestions put to Ask and the Concierge are logged with a short preview of the answer, so we can measure cost and improve results.
AI connector lookupsIf you use Vesper from your own AI assistant, each lookup is logged: which lookup, what it asked for, how many records came back, when, and which assistant, to run the connector, enforce its limits and keep it secure. What it returns goes to your AI provider, under your agreement with them.
Searches you runThe words you search, the page you searched from, how many results came back and how long it took are logged, so we can find searches that miss and make results faster. Kept 90 days.
Saved itemsRecords you save, and the companies, brands and bid categories you follow, so they stay with you on every device.
Records you openWhen you open a record, follow one of Ask’s citations or run a search, we note the page and the kind of record (an order, a contract), never which record or what you searched, so we can see which parts of Vesper get used. Kept 90 days.
Pages you openOne row per page load while signed in, with the kind of device and browser (phone, tablet or desktop; a browser tab or the installed app) and the window size, to understand which surfaces earn their keep.
ErrorsWhen something breaks: the message, the page, and your browser or device, so it can be fixed.
Bug reportsOnly if you file one — your note and any screenshot you choose to attach.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. No advertisers, data brokers or ad targeting. The service providers below process data to operate Vesper.
  • There is no advertising and no ad tracking — no third-party trackers, pixels, or advertising cookies.
  • We do not build a profile of you or combine your activity with data from other sources.
  • We do not track you across other websites.

Who helps run Vesper

Outside services process information for specific parts of Vesper:

  • Account and sign-in services — your email address and account identifiers to establish and secure access.
  • Hosting and database services — the account, application, saved-item and operational records described above to run and maintain Vesper.
  • Email delivery services — your address and the messages needed for sign-in and notifications.
  • AI answers — questions you submit to Ask and relevant Vesper context are sent to OpenAI to generate answers.
  • Historical payment processors — may retain transaction records for past invoices, refunds, disputes and applicable retention obligations. Vesper did not store card details. New payment arrangements, if any, happen outside this app and do not automatically control account access.

Daily emails

A daily email is off until you switch it on. You switch it on for one thing you follow: a company, a brand or a category of bids. From then on we email your account’s address on weekdays when the public record for it changes. On a day with no change we send nothing.

While an email is on, we keep the switch and a list of the public records already reported to you, so that only new ones are sent. Stopping the email deletes both.

We keep a copy of each daily email we send you, and a record of each day’s check, for about 90 days. We also keep a log of each time you switched an email on or off: what it was for, when, how it was stopped, which wording you agreed to, and your email address. That log stays for as long as you have an account.

You can stop at any time: use the stop link in any daily email, switch it off in Saved, or unfollow. If you mark a daily email as spam, or your address stops accepting mail, we stop your daily emails ourselves.

Deleting your account removes your email switches, the stored copies and the log.

How long we keep it

Account data lives as long as the account does. Question logs, page views and error records are operational and kept while they are useful for cost, diagnostics and product decisions. Delete your account and the data tied to it goes with it.

Your choices

  • See or correct your data — email us and we will sort it out.
  • Delete your account — from Settings inside Vesper, or by asking us. Deletion removes your account and the records tied to it.
  • Export — ask and we will send what we hold about you.

The mobile app

The Vesper iOS app is a client for the same account and the same data. It collects nothing beyond what is listed above, contains no advertising or third-party analytics, and sells nothing inside the app. If you enable notifications it stores a device token so alerts can reach you; turn them off and the token is discarded.

Security

Everything travels over HTTPS. Your data is scoped to your account at the database level, so one signed-in user cannot read another’s saved items, questions or account details.

Children

Vesper is a professional tool and is not directed at anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will say so here and, for anything significant, by email.
